I create images on clay and stone, or, transfer your photos onto marble, sandstone or hand-made ceramics. My imagery comes from whatever landscape I find myself in; picking in tide pools along the coast, wandering the banks of the Deschutes River or a quick trip to the greeen space behind my studio. I am intrigued by the richness of the life around me, especially the small and seemingly mundane bits and pieces. For me, these crumbs of existence tell a story of ongoing natural processes, and expose the beauty and value of all life.
